GAME ANALYSIS Location: FedEx Field
Washington's offense looked horrible in the pre-season but you really can't put too much or any stock in pre-season, at least that's what Redskins fans hope. The Redskins should be able to dominate this game at home. Mark Brunell is not exactly lighting the world on fire with 54% completion percentage but when he does connect he picks up big yardage and over 1.5 TDs per simulation. The key to the game is the Redskins defense. Shawn Springs is out until mid-September, but the Redskins should still be able to keep Brad Johnson from putting up many TDs. Johnson is averaging under 1 TD per simulation. He is also keeping interceptions low. The Vikings running game doesn't do very well against the Redskins in simulations giving Washington the big edge. After saying he was out, Clinton Portis is now upgraded to Probable (as a backup RB).
Current Line: 4 1/2
Mn. + 4 1/2 39.4%
Wash. - 4 1/2 60.6%
Current Total: 36
Over: 49.7%
Under: 47.9%
